Asali's Story
Asali means “honey”, and the name suits her perfectly. She arrived at Solio Rhino Orphanage as a very young calf, found alone in the wild with no sign of her mother.
From the start, she was calm and trusting.
She took to her bottle feeds quickly, which is an important step for any baby rhino. Each feed helped her settle in a little more, and she’s already showing signs of curiosity and strength.
Asali has a quiet presence. She’s gentle with her keepers and seems to find comfort in their company. Her days are peaceful now, filled with care, rest, and steady progress.
She has a long road ahead, but she’s in good hands — and she’s doing well.
