How To Find Us
From Nairobi to Solio Game Reserve is approximately a
3-hour drive. Follow these simple directions to reach the reserve:

Start in Nairobi and take Thika Road (A2) towards Thika.

Continue on A2 through Karatina, following signs toward Nyeri.

From Nyeri, follow the Nyeri/Nyahururu Road (C77) toward Nyahururu.

Solio Game Reserve is located on this road near Rware, Nyeri Town.
Solio Game Reserve now has two entry gates. The new Rhino Gate, located near Naro Moru, offers easier access for visitors coming from that direction. The original Main Gate remains accessible from the Nyeri-Nyahururu road.

You can also reach Solio Game Reserve by air. Fly from Nairobi’s Wilson Airport to Nanyuki Airstrip, which is a short 30-minute drive from the reserve. Alternatively, private flights can land directly at Solio’s private airstrip, located just 10 minutes from the entrance.
