OPERATING HOURS

  • Gates Open: 06:30hrs

  • Gates Close: 18:00hrs

  • Solio Game Reserve does not accept entries after 4:30pm

INDEMNITIES & GATE PASSES

  • Indemnity Forms – All Guests / Visitors MUST complete and sign the Solio Game Reserve Indemnity Forms.
    Parents must sign on behalf of their Children. Drivers and Guides are required to sign an Indemnity Form on every entry.

  • Solio Game Reserve Fees – are ONLY TO BE PAID to the Solio Company Official Mpesa number, credit card or
    Solio Company Bank Account. NO CASH is accepted. DO NOT pay or send money to any private individuals or their personal numbers.

  • Gate Passes – Single entry or Multi-entry. Please pay accordingly.

    All Guests, Guides and Drivers are to obtain an Official Solio Gate Pass on every entry into the Solio Game Reserve. (These gate passes must be handed to security at the gate on each exit)

    Solio Gate Passes will only be issued after registration & payments are completed.

    Official Complimentary Passes are only approved and issued by the Board of Directors and are issued as Single Entry only, and passes are to be handed to security at the gate on every exit from the Reserve.

GAME RESERVE RULES

  • Guests / Visitors must remain in their vehicles at all times, unless there is Solio Management written approvals.

  • No Pets or any domestic animals allowed in Solio Game Reserve.

  • No Fauna or Flora of any kind is allowed to be removed from Solio. Leave Solio only with wonderful memories.

  • Driving Off Main Roads is Totally Prohibited. Please remain on main Roads at all times. A fine of Kshs 10,000will be payable to those found off main roads and will be removed off Solio.

  • Respecting Wildlife: we request that visitors respect Solio & its wild animals. Keep a respectful distance and do not interfere in their space. Any Visitor, Driver or Guides found harassing or feeding Solio Wildlife, littering, will receive a fine of Kshs 10,000 and will be removed & banned from Solio property indefinitely.

  • No more than three (3) vehicles around animals/wildlife at any given time.

  • A vehicle should not be around the same animal for more than 10 minutes.

  • You should be no closer than 20 meter to any wildlife/animals

  • No loud music or noise is permitted within the Solio Game Reserve.

  • NO Weapons, firearms or DRONES are permitted within the Solio Property.

  • Smoking or any form of naked flames are not permitted within the Solio Property due to the risk of Fires.

  • Minimum speed limit must be respected & abided by at all times. A maximum of 40kph – Only in emergencies.

  • Solio Ranch & Solio Game Reserve will not be held responsible for any damage incurred to vehicles, equipment, Guests / Visitors, Drivers or Guides by any means or actions. Everyone entering Solio Game Reserve & Solio Ranch at their own risk.

  • Vehicle or personnel rescue/recovery – a fee of Kshs 7,000 is payable to Solio Ranch.

  • Picnics within Solio Conservancy are on Request & with prior approval from the Solio management.
