Supporting Wildlife Conservation

Caring for wildlife means learning more about each animal and finding new ways to protect them. Through close observation, creative projects, and small acts of support, we do what we can to help endangered species thrive.

RARE & ENDANGERED SPECIES PROJECT

With an aim of diversifying the eco-system, we are re-introducing species that were once in Solio and also introducing other rare species. These species include, Roan Antelope, Sable Antelope, Giant Pangolin and Cheetah.

We have successfully recently introduced White Bearded Wildebeest who are showing signs of thriving, having produced four new calves.

EYE WRINKLE IDENTIFICATION & DATA COLLECTION

The objective of this project is to develop a robust and innovative rhino eye identification software, inspired by the human fingerprint system, to aid in the conservation and protection of rhino populations. This together with our ongoing data collection, and future ear notching project will continue to enhance our knowledge and understanding of this protected species.
