Patrick has been a carer at Solio for years. His dedication to the orphaned animals is unwavering and his knowledge of their needs is exceptional. Patrick’s wide range of experience with wild animals means their care is tailored not only to their needs but individual personalities.
Martin
Meet Martin, one of the caring hearts of the Solio Team! With his big smile and beautiful heart for the orphans, he brings joy wherever he goes. Martin is also Ruka’s best friend — the two are always together! We’re so happy to have Martin as part of the family.
Benjamin
Benjami has been with the orphanage for a year, bringing deep care and commitment to the rhinos. With a background in wildlife, he understands their needs with great sensitivity. His dedication shines through in the energy and attention he gives to their well-being every day.
Wafula
Wafula’s journey with us began as a night keeper when our very first baby rhino, Njamba, was rescued. From that moment on, his dedication and gentle care have never wavered. His deep love for each orphan continues to inspire us every day.
Priors
Piroris joined the orphanage team from Solio’s ranger unit, where he was tasked with strengthening security. Over time, he formed a close bond with the rhino orphans. His energy, dedication and love for the animals are clear in everything he does, both in care and protection.
