Muundo's Story
Muundo means pattern in Swahili, a name that fits this little zebra perfectly. He was found alone among cattle on Solio Ranch, just a few days old, with no sign of his mother nearby.
He was tiny, unsteady on his feet, and in urgent need of care. Our team brought him in right away, and since then, he’s been gently looked after around the clock.
Muundo has adjusted quickly. He’s curious and alert, often exploring his surroundings with wide eyes and wobbly steps. There’s a spark in him already, and each day he seems a little more confident.
At night, Muundo shares a stable with Mstari, a slightly older zebra foal. The two have formed a strong bond. They play, rest close to each other, and seem to find comfort in simply being together.
These quiet early friendships are a big part of recovery. Muundo is doing well, and we’re happy to see him growing stronger in both body and spirit.
